Taking part in the Erasmus+ CREATE mobility in Kulautuva, Lithuania, was an unforgettable experience that we will always remember. From the very first day, we felt warmly welcomed by our host families and the students at Kulautuva Basic School, who made us feel at home.
During the week, we participated in a wide range of activities that allowed us to learn, collaborate, and discover Lithuanian culture. We worked together in creative workshops, role-play activities, and an international media project where we shared our impressions of the Erasmus+ experience. These activities helped us improve our English, work as an international team, and make new friends from different European countries.
We also had the chance to explore some amazing places. We visited Kaunas and Vilnius, discovering their beautiful old towns and learning about their history and traditions. One of the highlights of the week was our trip to the Baltic Sea, where we visited the Lithuanian Sea Museum and the Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre before enjoying the beautiful coastal scenery in Palanga. We also explored the historic town of Trakai and its famous castle.
On the last day, we presented the work we had completed during the mobility and took part in a symbolic tree-planting ceremony, representing our shared commitment to a more sustainable future. The farewell party was full of emotions, as saying goodbye to our new friends was not easy.
This mobility gave us much more than knowledge. It helped us become more independent, open-minded, and confident, while strengthening our communication skills and our sense of being part of a European community. We returned home with unforgettable memories, lifelong friendships, and a greater motivation to continue working towards a more sustainable future through the Erasmus+ CREATE Project.
