Preparation for Erasmus
Preparing for my Erasmus stay was very important for me. I see Erasmus as a big opportunity to improve my English, meet new people, and learn about other cultures.
As part of my preparation, me and other people made interviews. I made interview with a priest from Slavičín. We talked about Christianity, its history, and its role in today’s society. He explained how Christianity influenced the Czech culture, traditions, and values in the past.
We also spoke about how the Church has changed and how people see faith today.
The interview was recorded so it could be written down and added to a book. This book is part of a whole Erasmus project.
This experience helped me understand more about European history and culture.
Erasmus in Czech Republic
This week was very special for me because an italian student, Rebeka, came to stay at my home for one week. I was a little nervous before she arrived, but I was very excited too.
The first day, she cooked an italian dinner for us. She prepared pasta and tomato sauce. The food was really nice. I love it!
Another day we went to a cafe with my friends. We ordered dessert and coffee and talked for a long time.
I also took her to the farm where I go horse riding. She also horse rides, so it was very interesting for her.
During the week, we also spent time at home, talking, laughing, and taking photos together.
My week in Lithuania
In October, I spent one week in Lithuania for Erasmus. I met many new people from different countries.
We explored the city and enjoyed beautiful views. The weather was a bit cold and cloudy, but it did not matter. The autumn nature was very pretty. We also visited historical places and learned more about Lithuanian history and culture.
At school, we worked together on different projects. We prepared a play from our book.
In our free time, we talked a lot, laughed, and learned more about each other’s cultures. I improved my English and became more confident. This Erasmus experience gave me new friendships, new knowledge, and beautiful memories that I will always remember.
