Gymnázium Jana Pivečky a Střední odborná škola Slavičín offers general and vocational education. The grammar school (Gymnázium) serves students aged 11-19 (eight-year program) and 15-19 (four-year program). The vocational school (SOŠ) focuses on machinery, IT, and trades like plumbing, electrical work, and car mechanics. The school has about 520 students—300 in Gymnázium and 220 in SOŠ—located in Slavičín, a small town (pop. 6,500) in the White Carpathians, Czech Republic.
