Environment-Friendly Trip along the Ojos Negros Greenway

From 7 to 9 May 2025, a group of 30 students enjoyed an unforgettable experience within the framework of the ERASMUS CREATE project.

The trip began in Barracas, where participants started a cycling route along the Ojos Negros Greenway until reaching Navajas. After the ride, the group stayed overnight at the local hostel, sharing moments of coexistence and teamwork.

On the following day, the activity continued with a hiking route around Navajas, discovering the natural surroundings and enjoying the Mediterranean landscape in a respectful and sustainable way.

This environment-friendly trip gave students the opportunity to:

  • Practice sport and foster healthy habits.

  • Experience sustainable mobility.

  • Learn about and appreciate the natural and cultural heritage of the area.

  • Strengthen cooperation and teamwork.

The activity fully reflects the values of the CREATE project: Care, React, Engage, and Act Tenaciously to build a healthier and more sustainable world.
