Erasmus in Lithuania
FIRST DAY
On the first day we arrived and stayed with families. We arrived late in the evening, so we only went to dinner and sleep.
SECOND DAY
In the morning we went straight to school, where I met the other students. We were welcomed by Lithuanian teachers and we went to perform the skits we had practiced at school in the Czech Republic. Each country had its own that they had to present. We had lunch and then we went to look at the most interesting places in the city where the school was located. In the evening, we each had our own program.
THIRD DAY
In the morning we immediately went to the former capital Kaunas. We looked at various monuments and churches, it was very nice. In the evening, there was a party on the schedule without teachers, only with the other students and supervision. I enjoyed it.
FOURTH DAY
In the morning we got on the bus and went to the aquarium by the Baltic Sea. It was beautiful and large. We had some free time by the sea, so our Lithuanian friends took me and my Czech friends and showed us around there. We stayed there almost until the evening. We returned home to the Lithuanian family late in the evening.
FIFTH DAY
We went to see the capital city, Vilnius. It was a beautiful city. We were looking at the sights there. In the evening, we had some free time, and our Lithuanian friends took us with them again and we went to dinner. We returned from the city late in the evening.
SIXTH DAY
We had a program at school and lunch. After lunch, we went to visit a museum and then we went back to the city of Kaunas, but this time we went past the shopping center. There we had free time. In the evening, we had a farewell party prepared in the school gym. The Lithuanian students came up with the idea that we would write various messages on T-shirts. It was an excellent idea because I have the T-shirt at home with me and it is a great memory. Meanwhile, we of course danced to various songs. After ten o’clock, we Czech students said goodbye to the other students and we went home.
