A green skill campaign @school one the 23th of March 2026.

Our school l’ITET Lenoci-Euclide organized a cleanup yesterday morning with the no profit association called Plastic Free.

Monday morning the class impatiently awaited the arrival of the two Plastic Free experts.
They had to come and raise awareness about their fight against plastic.

The students wanted to support Plastic Free by buying a t-shirt each with
the association's logo: a sea turtle. The volunteers explained through
a powerpoint presentation and also with various videos all the actions carried out by
their association in Italy and around the world. For example, the rescue of sea turtles
and the protection of baby turtles who must reach the sea safely.

The students were very receptive and at the end of their presentation a real debate was
established. Students started to ask more info about their job, their action and their association.
They were very interested.
Like last week they had prepared their questions, some had the courage to ask them.
It was a real very satisfying exchange.
The next hour was dedicated to putting the theory into practice.
We all put on the t-shirt, took a pair of gloves and a trash bag and we went
down to the garden which will become our Erasmus+ CREATE green corner.
After more than an hour of cleaning, we posed for the souvenir photo of
this eco-citizen morning where we put our green skills into practice!!
