The Mirror of Emotions” Exhibition at the Satu Mare County Museum

An exhibition titled “The Mirror of Emotions” has opened at the Satu Mare County Museum, showcasing artworks created during the opening week of a large-scale international Erasmus+ project coordinated by the “Hám János” Roman Catholic School High School.

The Erasmus+ project, titled “CREATE – Care, React, Engage, and Act Tenaciously for a Healthy World,” held its international opening event in October in Satu Mare. The project is coordinated by the “Hám János” Roman Catholic Theological High School in Satu Mare, with the participation of schools from five other countries: the Czech Republic, Italy, Lithuania, Slovakia, and Spain.

The exhibition was organized by Ágota Bodnár, English teacher and Erasmus+ project coordinator, and Alexandra Sima, museum educator. The materials, posters, and paintings featured in the exhibition were created during the week following the opening event and are displayed in partnership with the Satu Mare County Museum between December 1 and 20, 2024.

Students from “Hám János'” High School collaborated with student groups from the five partner countries during this creative endeavor. The resulting artworks reflect the shared creative effort and the diverse perspectives brought by the international participants.

The exhibition aims to explore emotions and convey anti-bullying messages through the posters and paintings created by the students. These works were created under the guidance of teacher Zsuzsa Szemák.

The exhibit seeks to foster empathy and respect while raising awareness about the challenges surrounding school bullying.
