Students from Romania, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Lithuania, Spain, and Italy explored the work of local producers by visiting farms, workshops, and small businesses. During these visits, they interviewed producers, learned about traditional production methods, discovered the challenges of running local businesses, and documented their experiences through photography. The project encouraged students to appreciate sustainable production, responsible consumption, and the importance of supporting local communities.
The photographs taken during these visits became part of an international exhibition titled. The exhibition showcases 120 photographs—20 from each participating country—highlighting local traditions, craftsmanship, entrepreneurship, and the close relationship between communities and nature. It represents the collaborative work of students from all partner schools and celebrates the diversity of Europe’s local producers.
The exhibition has been presented in several international venues. In Lithuania, the photographs were displayed as part of an open-air exhibition, making the project accessible to the wider community. The exhibition was also hosted at Hotel Štadión in Košice, where it attracted both local and international visitors, as well as at the Satu Mare County Museum and during the Hám János High School Days. It was further presented at the Palazzo del Consiglio Regionale della Puglia in Bari, Italy, from 3 June to 3 July 2025, where it formed part of the project’s international dissemination activities. The Bari exhibition, organised in collaboration with the Regional Council of Puglia, showcased the collective achievements of the Erasmus+ partnership.
Through these exhibitions, students share the stories behind local production while promoting environmental awareness, sustainable lifestyles, and responsible consumer choices. By connecting communities across Europe, the project demonstrates how international cooperation can strengthen appreciation for local producers and preserve cultural and agricultural traditions for future generations.
