Challenging, Project-Topic-Bound Activities Awaited 36 Students and 12 Teachers During the Mobility Week Organized by Hám János Roman Catholic High School in Satu Mare

The project team offered a diverse program, ensuring that all participants from The Czech Republic, Italy, Lithuania, Slovakia and Spain as well as students from Hám János High School, found engaging activities. They had opportunities to socialize, visit local sights, discover regional traditions, cooperate, and create together. The activities aimed to foster cultural exchange and raise awareness about environmental and EU political issues like war and immigration.

A “Friendship Tree” was planted in the school yard, symbolizing partnership and unity, marking the first step in helping students understand climate change and the urgent need to address the threats facing humanity. The project coordinator’s message, directed at all partners, stated:

“May this tree stand as a symbol of our enduring friendship and the first step in our mission to ensure a safe, clean, and healthy world for our children and future generations. Each of us contributes to our own well-being and that of our families, friends, classmates, colleagues, and communities. By taking this initial step toward a healthier life, we can help create clean, safe environments in which we can thrive.”

All participating students were hosted by Romanian families, fostering international cooperation and developing social and communication skills.
