Mobility in Algemesí: Day one
We started our stay in Algemesí, Spain, in style. The partner school welcomed us extremely warmly and prepared a rich cultural program for us right at the beginning, in which local artistic talents shone to the fullest. The joint welcome was followed by a tour of the school premises (“tour de school”), during which we learned about the Spanish education system in practice. The real highlight of the day, however, was the breathtaking performance of La Nova Muixeranga d’Algemesì – their traditional human towers left us speechless. Creativity was given space during the workshop, where students made brightly colored carnival masks with their own hands. We dedicated the afternoon to exploring the surroundings as part of the “tour de Algemesì”, which we combined with an excursion to three innovative eco-companies. It was a day full of information and emotions, for which we sincerely thank our hosts!
