Our Database of Environmental Terms is available through the school library and serves as a valuable educational resource for students and teachers. It contains 300 environmental terms, with 50 terms contributed by each partner country. Every entry includes an explanation in English and translations into the foreign languages studied by students at each partner school (German, French, and Hungarian).
The purpose of the dictionary is to expand students’ environmental vocabulary, support multilingual learning, and encourage greater awareness of environmental issues. By providing clear definitions and translations, it helps students develop language skills while improving their understanding of sustainability and environmental protection. The resource also promotes collaboration between partner schools by making key environmental concepts accessible across different languages and cultures.
