On 18 November 2025, Czechia hosted an international online conference on business plans, bringing together experts and students from across Europe. Organized within Work Package 4, the event served as a major step in preparing students to create and present three distinct eco-oriented business plans, which will later be showcased in Spain.

A Collaborative European Effort

Experts from Italy, Czechia, Romania, Slovakia, Lithuania, and Spain contributed to the conference, each sharing specialized insights related to business planning. The diverse range of topics ensured that participants gained a well-rounded understanding of what it takes to build a competitive, sustainable, and environmentally responsible company.

The thematic sessions included:

  • Risk Management (Market, Time, Staff, and Financial Risks)Italy
    Italian experts emphasized how early identification and proper mitigation of risks form the backbone of any stable business.

  • A Successful Business PlanCzechia
    Czech speakers provided structural guidelines and real-world examples, demonstrating what differentiates a strong business plan from an ordinary one.

  • Financial Aspects of a Business PlanRomania

  • What Is an Eco Company and How to Plan ItSpain
    Spanish presenters brought the focus back to sustainability, explaining what makes a business “eco” and showing examples of successful environmentally friendly companies.

Building on Earlier Learning

This conference was not the students’ first encounter with eco-entrepreneurship. Their initial exposure came during the mobility in Czechia, where they:

  • learned and practiced the Lean Canvas method, a quick and effective way to map out business ideas;

  • visited several eco companies, gaining valuable firsthand insight into sustainable business operations.

These earlier experiences helped participants engage more deeply with the conference content and prepared them for the next major task of developing three unique eco-company business plans.

Looking Ahead to Spain

The business plans created as a result of this international collaboration will be formally presented in Spain, where students will have the opportunity to showcase their ideas, receive feedback, and further refine their entrepreneurial skills.

The conference highlighted the power of cross-border cooperation in education and innovation. By combining expertise, sustainable thinking, and practical training, the event successfully supported the growth of future eco-entrepreneurs across Europe.
