Within the Erasmus+ project CREATE, students and teachers from GJP and SOŠ Slavičín prepared and delivered meaningful gifts for children living in the children’s home in Smolina.
As part of the project activities, students focused on sustainability and creativity by producing handmade gifts from recycled materials. These original items were created with care and reflected the main ideas of the CREATE project – responsibility, creativity, and social engagement.
In addition to the handmade presents, the schools also collected and purchased many practical gifts that are essential for everyday life. These included food, used mobile phones, stationery, and other useful items that can help children both in their education and daily communication.
All the gifts were personally delivered to the children’s home in Smolina. The visit was a meaningful experience for everyone involved and showed how international projects like Erasmus+ can have a positive impact not only on students, but also on the wider community.
The activity strengthened solidarity, empathy, and the importance of helping those in need, which are key values of the Erasmus+ project CREATE.
