Yesterday Wednesday, 22nd April our school welcomed local authorities, parents, teachers and students in the auditorium to
attend the presentation by the group of students who came to Spain on their Erasmus exchange last February.
They began by presenting the concept of the Erasmus+ CREATE project, as well as the five partner schools and their respective countries.
They showed a clip from the Business Plan (BP) video recorded in Algemesí.
After that, they explained that the initial ideas for the Business Plans came from the 5CSIA class, which has the BP in its curriculum.
They then refined certain aspects of the BPs to better align with Eco-Business Plans.
Two high school students from 5CSIA presented their work under the watchful eye of their economics teacher, Professor Quercia.
Then, the Erasmus students, working in pairs or groups of three, presented their work using PowerPoint on the interactive whiteboard. The three Italian Business Plans were explained to the audience.
Following this, the presenters also showed the Business Plans from the other schools. They started with Romania (with the BP on jam), Czechia (with the BP on second-hand clothes), Slovakia (with the BP on organic pet food), Lithuania (with its BP on reforestation) and finally Spain (with its idea of clothing rental).
Then, at the end of the presentation, there was a lively discussion with questions from the audience, which the students answered brilliantly.
One of the teachers asked them what they had enjoyed most about their experience, both with the BP projects and their Erasmus experience in Algemesí.
The students spoke of how fortunate they were to have participated in such a wonderful project, how welcoming their host families had been, and how they truly understood the meaning of belonging to a community and the real feeling of belonging to the European Union.
