Have you ever thought about how a person destroys the environment around them with their activities? That is exactly why we went out into nature with 1.CV as part of the ERASMUS+ project CREATE and observed the negative impacts of our actions.
We found a lot of things – from garbage left on the road to PET bottles thrown in the Ružín water reservoir.
On the way around Košické Hámry to Malá Lodina, the road was lined with bags of waste, scattered cans and other objects that have no place in the wild.
In addition, we went to see the premises of the Ružín Pumped Storage Hydroelectric Power Plant, and it was a real experience for many students! In the morning, we did not even dream that we would get to the premises where it is otherwise almost impossible to get to.
We have realized that it is high time to change our behavior, because nature suffers – and if the environment around us suffers, we will ultimately suffer too.
