Our “Eco-Explorers” recently traded their desks for the fresh air of the White Carpathians during an inspiring excursion to the Veronica Ecological Center in Hostětín. Known as a “living laboratory” of sustainable living, this eco-village provided the perfect backdrop for our students to see environmental protection in action.
Hands-On Learning and Media Creation
The trip wasn’t just a simple tour; it was a full-scale media production. Equipped with cameras and microphones, our students were busy:
  • Filming key eco-projects: From the biomass heating plant to the reed-bed sewage treatment plant.
  • Interviewing experts: Students spoke with local specialists about passive building design and renewable energy.
  • Capturing the scenery: High-quality photos were taken of the Nature Garden of Senses and the surrounding landscape to document the harmony between nature and technology.
Coming Soon: The “Enviro Video”
All the collected footage and interviews are currently being edited into a professional Enviro Video. This student-led project aims to showcase how traditional rural values can meet modern green technology to solve global climate challenges.
We can’t wait to share the final result of their hard work with you!
