Different landscapes, diverse soils, and unique climates—but one shared mission. Across Europe, our Erasmus+ partners joined forces to demonstrate that caring for nature has no borders. Through gardening activities, environmental projects, and teamwork, students discovered the true meaning of protecting and nurturing the world around them.
Whether planting colourful flowerbeds or participating in more complex gardening tasks, students learned valuable lessons about responsibility, sustainability, and environmental stewardship. With every flower planted and every seed sown, we also planted the seeds of environmental awareness in their hearts. More importantly, students were entrusted with the responsibility of maintaining these gardens long after the project comes to an end, ensuring that its impact will continue to grow.
Each partner country contributed in its own unique way:
- Lithuania and Czechia created and maintained beautiful flowerbeds, transforming school spaces into greener, more welcoming environments.
- In Slovakia, students revitalised their school’s interior courtyard and garden by cleaning, restoring, and caring for these shared outdoor areas.
- Romanian students collaborated with their younger peers from the kindergarten of our school as to create a colourful flower garden for the youngest members of the community, while also establishing flowerbeds at the boarding school.
- In Spain, students dedicated their time and effort to designing and maintaining the garden at the entrance of their school, creating a vibrant and inviting first impression for everyone who visits.
- Italy warmly welcomed the project partners by preparing the Erasmus Garden before the mobility visit and continues to care for it, ensuring it remains a lively symbol of international cooperation.
Although separated by distance, climate, and culture, all participating countries were united by the same goal: creating healthier, greener learning environments and inspiring future generations to care for nature.
