The first day began with the opening ceremony, featuring speeches from the Principal, a charming and very friendly man, the Erasmus coordinator, Pere, and a representative from a local institution. All of this was accompanied by music and songs performed by Elena and the choir.
It was a lively and very enjoyable moment for everyone.
Our respective schools presented themselves to the audience.
After a well-deserved coffee break, we toured the school and witnessed one of the city’s traditions: the Muixerangues (colorful human towers for Carnival). Lunch was at a nearby brasserie, which we reached on foot. We all ate paella together, a typical Valencian dish. Then we embarked on a walking tour of the city to admire its tourist attractions, as well as shops run by small producers or those involved in business plans and eco-businesses.
After this busy day, the students returned to their families and the teachers to their hotel.
Adeu!
