Our 5th and last day together...
We spent the morning at the school for the presentation of the different business plans from our six countries. It was very interesting to attend these presentations in small groups. In total, there were three business plans per country, so we listened to 18 in all.
One teacher per country, plus experts, formed the jury who voted for the six best. All the countries received a certificate for their participation.
Afterwards, everyone enjoyed a well-deserved coffee break!
Drums, whistles, and music accompanied us to close out the week, and we also planted a tree, as we do on every exchange program.
We had lunch, trying the famous bocadillos (with omelet), and then we returned to the hotel to finish packing.
In the evening, we went back to the school for our farewell party, a masquerade ball.
Our team chose Money Heist (La Casa de Papel) as our theme, since it’s a Spanish series, to pay tribute to our hosts!
We had a huge success and even won a Certificate for Best Carnival Spirit!!!
While the students were letting loose on the dance floor, the teachers were enjoying dinner in the staff room.
Dancing, laughter, and tears filled this final, emotionally charged evening. The next day, everyone had to catch a plane home...
