From October 13-17, 2025, Kulautuva Basic School hosted the 4th Erasmus+ CREATE project mobility meeting, titled “A Hero’s Journey Across Europe – From Narrative to Reality.” The event gathered students and teachers from Romania, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Italy, Spain, and Lithuania, creating a platform for cultural exchange, creative collaboration, and the exploration of storytelling across Europe.

Every country arrived at Sunday, and was welcomed by their host and brought home. The project started at Monday with a welcoming ceremony where students from Lithuania showed their talents like dancing and singing. After the ceremony all of the countries showed their act from the book called “A Hero’s Journey Across Europe – From Narrative to Reality.”.  It was really fun to watch how other countries tried to stay into character. Then students from Lithuania showed around the school and Kulautuva city telling stories about each well known place.

The second day started with two activities. The first one was doing art work and the other one was filming and answering questions like what color would Erasmus be. After that we all drove to Kaunas where a guide was waiting for us. The guide knew a lot of interesting stories about Kaunas that we all happily listened. The day ended with a party where we had a lot of fun dancing and getting to know each other.

The third day started really early in the morning cuz it was time to go to Palanga and Klaipeda. There we went to a rebilitation center and the see museum. After a lot of walking and exploring we went to eat where we also celebrated Czech boys birthday. We learned a lot of new things and it was the most interesting day yet.

The next day we went to Vilnius we explored the city by listening to stories of Lithuanian students and going to well known places. We came home really late, and we went to sleep as early as possible because tomorrow will be the last day.

The last day we showed the movie that Lithuanian students made and went to Raudondvaris mansion to see how rich people lived years ago. Then it was finally time to go to Kaunas where we had free time. Everyone strengthened their bonds with new friends. Finally it was time to go back to get ready for the party where we had a lot of fun just dancing, jumping and singing. The week ended with everyone crying and hugging cuz it was time to say goodbye to our new friends. It was really hard and sad to say our goodbyes, but you don’t have to be sad that it all ended, you have to be happy that it all happened and you were able to experience it.
