On May 28, participants of the Erasmus+ project @createerasmus24 and their teachers set off on a cycling tour toward Vilkija. This ride carried an important mission – to draw attention to environmental issues in polluted areas.

The participants – cycling enthusiasts and students – spread the message about the importance of protecting nature and reducing pollution.

During the tour, the cyclists not only pedaled along the route but also stopped at several points where information about waste sorting was shared. It was more than just sport or leisure – it was a civic initiative. Covering a distance of 35 km added an extra boost of motivation.

Cycling can serve not only as an activity promoting a healthy lifestyle but also as a powerful social message. The tour aimed to clean up neglected areas and inspire society to change its attitude toward environmental protection.
